Erin Thomas, DMD
Dr. Thomas completed her Bachelor of Science at Virginia Tech and received her D.M.D at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. She then attended the prestigious North Shore University Hospital General Practice Residency for two years where she served as Chief Resident.
During her training, Dr. Thomas completed a dental externship which provided much needed dental care for the United States Coast Guard in Yorktown Virginia. While treating our men and women in uniform she was awarded The Spirit of Excellence award in recognition of her personal efforts. She continued her passion for donating services when she traveled to Jamaica in 2007 and the Philippines in 2012 for dental mission where she cared for underserved communities.
Dr. Thomas is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Suffolk County Dental Society and the Spear Education Study Club
She currently lives in Kings Park with her husband, Justin and two children Harper and Cooper.
Chris Salierno, DDS
Dr. Salierno is an international lecturer and author on the subject of dental implants and cosmetics. He has published numerous articles and webcasts on smile design and implant prosthetics. One of his niche areas of research is the emerging field of implant complications and rehabilitation. He is the Editor-in-Chief of a national publication for dental professionals.
Dr. Salierno received his B.S. from Muhlenberg College and his D.D.S. from SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. He completed his formal training at Stony Brook Hospital’s General Practice Residency program where he focused on implant prosthetics.
While in dental school, he was the National President of the American Student Dental Association. He is the past president of the Suffolk County Dental Society. He also has held various leadership positions in the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He happily resides in Huntington Village and enjoys film, art, and travel.
Kerri Ingwersen, Office Manager
Kerri has been in the dental field for over 16 years. She earned her undergraduate degree from Western New England College in Criminal Justice and General Business and her Master’s Degree in Social Work. She enjoys working with patients and making them feel comfortable on the financial level of dentistry.
She is a trainer for Synchrony Bank and trains other medical offices on case presentation. She is a member of the Huntington Elks and works closely with local veterans in need organizing the clothing room at the VA Hospital. She also works with the Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts on community activities and is a Daisy leader. Kerri is the treasurer of the Cold Spring Harbor Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and very active with her church.
When not working or volunteering, Kerri enjoys spending time with her husband Chris and her two daughters Addison and Brinleigh.
Jessica Spina, Appointment Coordinator
Working in the Hospitality industry for over 3 years, Jessie has had experience in organizing and scheduling office task.
Growing up in the Mid- West she prides herself on her work ethic and her warm outgoing personality, making everyone feel welcome and a part of a family. She loves sports, and playing volleyball is one of her passions. When she is not in the office, Jessie loves going to the beach and spending time outside.
Donna Kankula, RDH
Donna is a Board Certified Registered Dental Hygienist. She has been practicing hygiene for over 25 years and is a graduate of SUNY Farmingdale. Donna's love of dental hygiene fuels her desire to provide an important service to our patients. She enjoys the opportunity to help our patients understand why complete oral care is so beneficial to their overall health.
Donna enjoys golfing and bowling when not working and loves spending her time with her husband, Joe and their four granddaughters in their home in Fort Salonga.
Christine Cianci, RDH
Christine grew up, and lives in West Islip. She received her hygiene degree from Farmingdale State College and loves treating children in the practice. During her studies she was a member of the Student American Dental Hygienists Association board and received an award for her outstanding contributions from the Long Island Dental Hygienists Association.
When not working, Christine enjoys being with her husband and two sons, and attending her sons' sporting events. In her free time she likes to be at the beach, cook and garden.
Jaclyn Dias, RDH
Jaclyn graduated from SUNY Farmingdale and has been working in the dental field for eight years. She loves treating and caring for her patients.
She recently got married, and is looking forward to going on her honeymoon with her husband this June. In her free time Jaclyn enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
Maria Savignano, CDA
Maria is a Certified Dental Assistant. She started working in the dental field 16 years ago and truly enjoys what she does. She loves expanding her skills in the dental field and keeping up with the new technology. Maria takes pride in providing her patients a relaxed and comfortable environment so they always have a positive dental experience.
When not working, Maria loves to enjoy the outdoors, cooking and spending time with her husband John and daughter, Sophie Rose in their home in East Norwich.
Lauren Scheffel, CDA
Lauren is a certified dental assistant and is pursuing a career in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys being outside and going to the beach.
